Northern Kentucky Electric Service, Inc. is an Industrial Commercial Electrical Contractor. Our goal simply stated, is establishing a long term relationship with each of our customers. We offer our customers services ranging from installation of a single outlet or light fixture to design and installation of 69,000 volt substations. We are able to do this because our employees have vast experience in a wide variety of backgrounds including construction, utilities, and government service. This unique combination of experience in all types of electrical construction is our greatest asset. The majority of our employees have over 20 years of experience in the electrical industry.

Our highly skilled workforce sets NKES apart from our competition. To achieve the problem solving capabilities that our customers require, we have invested in educating our workforce. Degree engineers, apprentices enrolled in a Bureau of Apprenticeship, and Training approved program, journeyman skill upgrade and National Electric Code classes, and management training seminars are the tools used by NKES to give you, our customer, the most for your construction dollars.
Safety of our employees is one of our chief concerns. Northern Kentucky Electric uses a full time Safety Director for job site inspections. We have maintained an EMR of less than .80 for over 5 years.
Northern Kentucky Electric Service, Inc. is proud to be part of the communities in which we live and work. We take an active role as members of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Tri-Ed, The Better Business Bureau, The Independent Electrical Contractors of Greater Cincinnati, and The Greater Cincinnati Electrical Association. NKES is licensed in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana and maintains a large fleet of line trucks and service vehicles.
Our philosophy includes returning service to our community. We have donated service to the Northern Kentucky Association for the Retarded on numerous occasions. During the flood of 1997 we donated two line trucks and crews to Falmouth, KY to restore power to the city owned electric utility. We have also assisted numerous youth groups in the area.
