Over the years, Northern Kentucky Electric Service has developing lasting relationships with retailers across the Midwest, lending electrical assistance to any new construction or remodeling job that is needed.  Projects include installation of building and surrounding area lighting power as well as point of sale wiring.

Facility: Johnson Controls Battery Plant
Location: Florence, KY

Northern Kentucky Electric Service has completed several high voltage industrial jobs for the Johnson Controls Battery Plant in Florence, which specializes in the production of car and truck batteries. Highlights of this working partnership include wiring to injection molding machines ranging from 100 to 400 amps and a 4,000 amp service. 

Limited BrandsFacility: Limited Brand Distribution Center
Location: Columbus, OH
Service Performed: Lightning Protection

The Limited Brand distribution center in Columbus OH, is a 1,000,000 sq. ft. facility responsible for the sorting of mail orders for Victoria’s Secret and other products. Northern Kentucky Electric Service installed its lightning protection service throughout the exterior of the facility to protect against property damage and power surges resulting from lightning strikes.

Gallatin SteelFacility: Gallatin Steel
Location: Ghent, KY
Service Performed: Design| Build

Northern Kentucky Electric Service has a 10 year history with Gallatin Steel, serving as their on-site contractor in electrical installation and renovation among numerous other projects.  Specific Design|Build projects include a 34,500 volt feeder and substation, a 4160 volt motor control center and several high voltage transformers.  Additionally, NKES has installed over a mile of underground conduit, manholes, road boarings, testing and commissioning for the Northern Kentucky industrial steel facility.

Location: Cincinnati, OH
Service Performed: Design| Build

Consolidated Metal Products has enlisted the help of Northern Kentucky Electric Service with several industrial and high voltage projects including new transformers, a 3,000 amp 480 volt service and a 3,000 amp bus duct with equipment.  NKES has also recently helped the manufacturing facility upgrade to energy efficient lighting to replace old metal halide high bay lighting.

Facility: City of Falmouth
Location: Falmouth, KY
Service Performed: Plan| Spec

The city of Falmouth called on Northern Kentucky Electric Service for extensive work on a new community streetscape project. Installations include new sidewalks and new underground electric wiring and conduit for telephone and cable television.  Most notably, NKES was able to relocate the city’s overhead primary distribution system without disrupting power supply to area homes and businesses.
